The Trans Euro Trail is an off-road adventure through Europe, from almost the Arctic Circle to the gates of Africa and back.
Comprised of 51,000 km of off-road routes, the Trans Euro Trail is an epic adventure through the most remote, diverse and inspiring places in Europe.
Influenced by the pioneering Trans America Trail, the Trans Euro Trail encourages the most adventurous rider to travel light and experience the rich diversity of European lands and cultures.
Driven by a team of enthusiastic volunteers called "Linesmen", the Trans Euro Trail entrusts this community with the task of managing the evolution of the network of tracks that crosses thirteen countries.
We are not a tour company, nor a for-profit company, we are a Community with a common interest. All of us involved in the Trans Euro Trail have the same goal, to enjoy off-road adventures and the experience of exploring landscapes, cultures and borders.
